The direction for this project came from the CEO and was to create a newsletter to be distributed amongst team members. My partner and I pitched the direction as more of a magazine, complete with accolades, informational pieces, interviews, press releases and themed personal curated content meant to engage our countrywide team.
Issues were released three times per year. Each time we met with the departments heads, CEO and COO to pitch content and decide on the message that needs to reach the team in the field. Interviews were conducted, content curated, organized and created. I developed the visual styling for each issue as well as, additional photography, all page layouts and graphics. This was both printed and digitally distributed. The digital distribution utilized and online magazine flip style navigation complete with interactive and clickable portions.
Not only did it become highly anticipated amongst the team, it also became a recruiting aid, pillar of the corporate culture, as well at a networking piece for our c-suite and business development investor relationships. Below are examples from each of the five issues that were released. The styling ranges from watercolor to graffiti and every aspect of it has been managed and created by myself and a colleague.
